Using fiber pots

    Well last year I started my french climbing beans in them and they did well! and this year because it's been cold and wet iv'e started my onion set off in em (48) and today iv'e planted em out with about an inch of green on top and up to 1 1/2 inch of roots out the bottom and sides , iv'e got a batch of shallots growing in them ,also I repotted my chillies into them ! i'll use toilet tubes for my beans this year, but i'll use plastic pots for my courgetts . atb Dal

      Yep, like Derbydal and Philthy - I find them quite useful.
      However, I only use them for peas and beans - much better than plastic modules, and less damage to roots.
