  • How much bone meal to use?

    Hi all,

My Dorset Naga plant leaves are wrinkling/puckered. From reading online I found out it could be due to a lack of calcium so i decided I will add some bone meal to see if that makes a difference.

The question is how much should I use? Any advice?

(The pic is before they showed the wrinkling. I'm just showing the size of the plant and pot)

We need a bit of scale, but i'm assuming it is about 100mm tall. If using reasonable good MPC, you should not need fertilizer yet. Bone meal tends to be a very fine dusting (A big handful per square meter ish. Depends size of hands.)

Eggshells are Calcium. Also, Lime. Probably mix it into the soil rather than pop on the top though.

      Kind Regards.............Rob
