Nothing at all, a few twigs from the hawthorn and a few now removed weeds but that's it. Could be dead, could be waiting for summer who knows. This is only their third year.

Soon be able to cut a small feed here. The new ones planted last autumn just starting to appear in sunnier so warmer side of plot, nothing in cold side, time will tell. But not planted that deep here as don't get hard frost's but do get lot winter rainfall.

I grew mine from seed a couple of years ago and they are still a year from the cropping stage so I've been growing them in pots and over wintering them in the greenhouse and they started sprouting over a month ago and now most are about a metre high ferns? Having said that, a couple came through thick so I snapped them off and ate them. They were delicious

I've got a bed where they are going to live permanently and I'll be planting them there shortly.

Ive had three servings. But im cheating because its growing in my
                Polytunnel.
This is the first time i have taken any. I am going to have to watch carefully how much i get. Space in polytunnel is just so precious i need to assess if it really worth it. I do intercrop with garlic ghough.

One single purple shoot just showing, about a cm. Last year I resorted to eating them raw on the plot such was the lack of volume. Ho hum, they were delicious but it's an extravagant bed.

Mine went in a few weeks ago. How long do we think before I'm likely to see any shoots.

Mine are up and had one serving so far. Interestingly the later varieties were the first to poke their heads out and the earlies are still in hiding

I planted some last year and even with the much warmer weather in March it took a good couple of months to see anything sprouting. I can only assume they were busy growing roots. Formed a few ferns.

This year just staring to sprout now. On has two ‘proper’ thickness stems the two others just breaking ground but looking thinner.

This years crowns had planted in troughs for last two months so I could protect them from water logging in the snow and rain under the car port. Planted in plot Sunday with sharp sand (plot is clay so was far far to wet to even contemplate until now) but five out of six had signs of shoots and new roots.

they went in on the 15th so yeah, just over a week ago.

I don't mind how long they take, but it would be nice to have a general idea as to when to look for them
