    They are looking pretty good now - are they ready?!

    As soon as you like. They are lovely small and good for soup or stew when a bit bigger. Don't pull more than you can eat though as they don't keep well once pulled.

        Pull them when small and tender, around golf ball size or slightly bigger or they just get hot and woody.

          Good I will harvest some tomorrow Madderbat is making Cornish pasties.
          The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.
