sweet potato sprouting

Hello, I have a supermarket sweet potato sprouting on my windowsill.

I am planning to shove it in a pot to see what happens. Any thoughts? best methods etc?

I am fully expecting a non-result, but it might be fun.

would if be worth shoving it in my propagator?

Ta, I shall read that.

I grew sweet potato slips last year and the year before at a cost of Not Cheap from Garden Organic, I had a small crop year 1 and no crop last year, so a freebie can't give me a worse return...

You shouldn't have any trouble at all growing a stunning crop of sweet potatoes. With all the sunshine you get
