Our backyard (used to be a barn, roof was half off when we bought it).

The growhouse. I have space to grow on maybe 4 tomato plants... No idea what I'll do with the rest!





And the boys who simultaneously make it all worthwhile and all almost impossible...

Lumpy, I love it! I could never really raise seedlings before, having only one suitable windowsill indoors. Now, with the growhouse and a heated propagator, I have a ball! Once all the seedlings are out, I use it to house the tomatoes, with the top permanently open.

J Jane, yes, I tried that last year. It's an absolute suntrap out there, so if the weather is okay, I have a good chance of a crop. Last year, not so much...
