  • Huge Tomato Flowers...

I usually only grow cherry tomatoes, even when I grow normal ones they always seem to turn out small.

This year I have tried a variety called "brandy Boy"

The flowers on this appear to be much larger than normal.

Is it simply the bigger the flower the bigger the fruit?

If its just one flower, with lots of petals, its a megabloom and the tomatoes will grow into silly shapes.
    I remove them.

Yes. Sometimes you get a distorted flower, almost a two-in-one job, and these turn into odd tomatoes that look a bit like two zipped into one. Still taste good though!

      Happy growing.

Edited: Sorry, VC got there before me. Happy growing anyway.
