  • Main crop potatoes already flowering

No idea what is happening but i planted some main crop potatoes end of April and some are already flowering.....any ideas why as this surely can't be right? I've got a vision that there is just one potato buried down there!!

I think with main crop just ignore the flowers and let the tubers develop. Some people take the flowers / "seed pod" off as they're poisonous and may take energy away from the taters.

We usually wait until they get blight before harvesting
