How many Courgettes, squashes and cucumbers have you picked in 2018

2 more courgettes today meaning I've now picked 7 in total.
No more cucumbers yet. I overwatered and the next 3 or 4 on the stem have sulked, turned yellow and dropped off..
I have 3 or 4 more coming along well now I've calmed down the watering and given the roots a chance to grow in the compost..

I know jealousy will get me nowhere, but no cucumbers or courgettes yet. One of my courgette plants has lots of females but no males to fertilise (and there aren't any males anywhere else) so the courgettes are shrivelling up and dying.

Picked my first cucumber of the year yesterday from my friend's greenhouse - variety Cucino.

All the courgettes & cucumbers have been from plants sown in January. Today I picked the first courgette from a later sowing. Started to look for courgette recipes today.

First year growing cucumbers could anyone tell me if my cucumber are ready?
I was hoping they would become longer.

Depends on what variety they are!
I only grow minicucumbers so, to me, they're ready.

All picked as diddy babies, as I want to get the plant going, and I find this kick-starts things.

Courgettes = 0 (plants are small and sulking, I have no idea why last year they were like triffids)

Cucumbers 18 (nearly all from one plant whose leaves are now a bit yellow and spotty so its been moved out of the GH and is enjoying some fresh air while I wait for some more to start producing).

i planted 9 cucumber plants out ,some got eaten by slugs and the rest just went white and died ,not sure what i did wrong tbh

My favourite way of eating 5 courgettes in one meal is to slice them thinnish and fry lightly, add sliced cooked new potatoes until slightly browned and layer sliced cheese on top - until it melts.
