How many Courgettes, squashes and cucumbers have you picked in 2018

Picked my first two yellow courgettes today & eaten four cucumbers including this one nearly it’s a diva -

+2 small round courgettes (there were 5, only one of them growing).

Total:
courgettes: 5

Cucumbers: Still waiting! But there are tens of crystal lemons developing, first will be ready any day now (most probably on Sunday). I am watching them every day at least three times per day

Cucumbers - picked six or seven in total so far, for pickling.

Yesterday, picked 8 courgettes (and ate them all)
Haven't been to look for any today, yet!!

Courgettes - 64 + 8 = 72

Cucumbers 30 + 2 = 32

In a fit of generosity, I gave 4 away.

The 8 I ate last night were cut in half, lengthwise, dipped a thick batter and shallow fried. had them with rice and soy sauce.

A bit late, only planted the small courgette seedlings out on Saturday---sadly no snozcumbers this year.

My courgette plant has its first female flower (duh, didn't realize the previous were all males).

I just thought I'd check in and say ^^^ oooooohh, aaaaaahhh! Were vegetables always so pretty?
