Cucumbers: 18 + 15 = 33
Courgettes: still 17

Courgettes and squashes are looking bad, a combination of mildew, wind and rain has been a bit too much for them.

I have two yellow courgette plants, had 7 courgettes off one, none off the other. yesterday I gave it a severe talking to and told it I would pull it out if it didn't start producing. Today I discovered it had sneaked off through the marigold patch to go and talk to the squashes, and had grown one enormous courgette, 18" long. We had yellow marrow for lunch
