As I'm out walking the dog at the crack of Dawn which is around 6.34am for me at the moment. I do notice as things change, for example the first shoots of new nettles are up. I often find these to be a useful indcator that I can start planting under cover.

Don't know about you, but I'm getting ready for Season 2 which starts after the summer solstice on the 21st.
I've put away the tomato seeds until next year, packed away the propagators and started to find the oriental veg seeds. Moving to a new season is even more exciting than the start of a new month or a Monday.

Ah but think. After the 22nd the nights draw in and the days get shorter.
