      Ooh matron.

I was actually thinking of something like a small section of insect proof mesh, but tights or bras will work as long as the cup holds 3lbs.
I'm only here cos I got on the wrong bus.

Thanks for all the advice, update on the tomatoe planting, I ended up planting one into a very big bag of multipurpose compost, and the other into an xxl growbag stood up right, south facing sheltered position.Decided not to plant at the allotment, whilst it's hot now, it probably won't last and would be a bit too exposed, a I've left it a bit late too, plus everybody gets blight there apparently, my first year, so il keep my special toms at home, and keep my normal toms for the allotment.

I have one left to plant, and il go for the planter at home, sheltered southwest facing.

Just an update on the tomatoes, they're not giants, but they do have very large clusters of heavy beefsteak type tomatoes on them, with bending branches

Considering I didn't grow them under glass, or reduce the tomatoes to get one massive one, and planted them out late, im happy.

They've enjoyed the long hot summer, I just hope that they ripen soon and taste good too
