thanks everyone for the advice! not expecting anything with the toms because have had pretty bad blight and lost quite alot. my big toms (rose de bearn) arent very even and the only cherry i had 12 of had blight quite badly so its a toss up between putting 3 in with slight blight or 3 not quite ripe..think il go for underripe! i think my rasps will do alright but not sure if i leave the stalk in or not? made my bread dough this eve and quite confident about that.. got to sort peppers and beetroot in the morning..

This is prob a bit late, but would always recommend leaving the stalks in. Its the bit that shows you dint buy the produce you see. Hope it all go's well. :-)Blogging at..... www.thecynicalgardener.wordpress.com

Well done on the rasps. Well done for having a go as well. Exciting isnt it.
Keep your schedule for next year, bit of planning over xmas you will be fine.
Local produce shows need people to 'just have a go' else they will die out.
Again, well done.Blogging at..... www.thecynicalgardener.wordpress.com

Well done Leona - just taking part is a huge thing. I'm hoping to do a bit more planning for next years show, but it probably means starting early in the year as Seasprout says.
Well done!~

yes, i think next year il grow some beetroot in pots to try to save it from the slugs! my best cherry toms iv been eating as they ripened so there was no way i could get a set of 12! that said they were very pleased i was there, i think i was the youngest by about 40 years not counting the juniors..
