Brussel Sprouts

I am new to this planting lark, I only have a shady back yard but a sunny front garden. unfortunately all areas are paved. I want to plant some brussel sprout seeds but am unsure what size pot I can plant them in. Does anyone have any ideas?

Hello Newveggie, welcome to the grapevine. I grow all my vegetables at the allotment so I'm afraid I can't tell you what size pot you need to grow the sprouts in. However to start from seed I sow one seed in a cell (which you buy at the garden centres) in multi compost. Then when they are big enough they are planted out. This is when you would plant them into a large pot. I hope this helps a bit but I'm sure somone who grows their vegetables in pots will be able to give more advise.
