Pelleted Carrot Seed

Our carrots have been a bit hit and miss this year. I have heard sometimes better results are obtained using "pelleted" carrot seed, as opposed to normal seed. Anyone had any experience with them, and if so where is a good source of supply please? Many thanks.

I Have had good success with pelleted seed

I place two or three per station and then thin to the strongest seedling much easier

I have bought them off mole seeds and I think ebay not a huge variety of types available. I have done ok with pelleted parsnip as well

Premier seeds direct do cheap pelleted carrot seeds. Can't remember if they're Nantes or Chantenay.
