Because of the dry weather all my onions had got to the stage where the growth had fallen down and begun to dry. I have harvested them and set them to dry. Now I am left with a 2 x 1m raised bed free. Any suggestions for planting after the rain comes? I work on a five year crop rotation and so carrots will be in there next spring.

Onion spot sounds like a disease so good you haven’t got that if there’s such a thing. Ive got the same spare area free for something,I might sow swede again but cover it with netting before germination, the cabbage whites are searching my garden every day!
