  • Pepper leaves eaten

Well here I am again with thrip (tiny holes in tips of new leaves) and caterpillar carnage all over my garden. They absolutely wreak havoc on most of my plants from Spring to late summer. It's bad enough coping with every kind of leaf miner, aphids but these are the worst.

Will the plant still be ok for producing peppers ?

Have you looked to see if you can find the culprits n squash'em? Mine looked similar and it was in fact some tiny baby snails causing the damage, who are no more - all say ah!

If you can find and deal with the culprits the plants should carry on growing..

Not snails, they seem to be the marks from thrips but try finding them, let alone killing them.

Marbs, it looks like snail damage as well as trips.
        Hope they recover for you.

I had caterpillars on my peppers and my basil this year. They looked a bit like cabbage white. I picked off the ones I could find and they are producing peppers just fine.
