  • Growing Leeks over winter?

The leeks I planted in Spring are doing well. My question is, if I sow some more now to plant out later, will they grow over winter or not? Thanks for the help. PS, I am going to grow onion "Radar" and "Electric" again over winter - they were fantastic.

I reckon it's too late to sow leeks now, in a normal year they don't grow much through winter, they just stand there waiting for you to dig them out.
Some people start some early, just after Christmas, but keep them protected until they can be planted out. ( Oops....I mentioned the C word but think I go away with it )
