Wot! More bees?

I have an old WBC hive I never use, so plan to give it to the local beek association. Last week I brought it home from my apiary and by the next afternoon had close on 100 or so scouts excitedly dancing around it. I don't need more bees, so I had to tape up every nook and cranny to keep them out. (It is rather the worse for wear!). Thankfully they've mostly given up now, just 6 or 7 hopefully inspect it each day.

Swarm season is well and truly here!

I would loved to have kept bees, but my wife and daughter are afraid of them and now I'm not supposed to eat much due to keeping my sugar intake down, it seems like such a great hobby, my uncle in Norfolk had bees for years.
