I would dearly love some help in learning the art of keeping bees with someone with experience, with a view to establishing a hive of my own at some point. Is there anyone in the Rochdale/Todmorden area who could help me

Have you tried the BBKA website? I'm sure they have regional co-ordinators. If you get no response here, try them, they should be able to put you in touch with someone.
