How high do Bees and other polinating insects fly

Help required please, my daughter has moved to London and living in a 5th floor flat, she has planted lots in bags and her beans are doing well and adding to her dinner but her courgettes are only at flower stage, does she need to hand polinate or will the bees do the job for her.

Plenty of insects will be around to do the pollination. They get to the tops of tall trees easily enough.
