bees coming into polytunnel to die?

these are the boys that the queen DIDNT mate with.
When a queen bee mates, the drones genitals explode and drop off, then he dies.....
she will mate with approx 15-20 on her mating flight then lay fertilised eggs for upto 5 yrs
not sure which drones i feel most sorry for.

I was wondering if these were male honey bees (drones) being kicked out of the hive as they are not needed over winter.
