Getting back into bees.

I forgot this forum was here so I hope the thread I began yesterday in another forum isn't violating any rules.

I am scheduled to be receiving 3 3# packages of bees in later April.

I kept bees for about 6 years so I know a bit about them but it has been a while since I've had them so I may be hanging out here to refresh my memory on some topics.

Installed the bees 10 days ago. Weather has been windy, cold, and rainy for the most part. Today is nice. I really need to get into the hives to make certain they have their queens. There has been quite a bit of activity the past 2 days.

I feel fairly certain the queens are alive but not 100%.

I hope they are drawing comb and packing the cells.
