Yesterday I was chatting to a bee keeper who was saying he's got loads of asian hornets attacking his bees.
(NB...I live in France)
Another guy overheard us and said he was advised to place his hives within his chicken run.
The chooks tend to catch them whilst they are hovering and eat them!
yes, they do still lose a few bees, but less than before.
just thought I'd pass this info on to anyone else bothered by either European or Asian hornets.
