Ladybirds

Been finding lots of ladybirds as I've been clearing out byres, barns and fencing areas.

I've been moving them to "sheltered" and woody / grassy spaces so that they can get shelter and protection and still find food...

But now thinking
Are they still on lock down and would a better bet be to move them to my polytunnel?

best if possible to set aside an area of one of the barns you are clearing and move them to a corner of that for a month or so - they are where you have found them becasue they like the conditions there.

I have lots and lots of them here too. I try to leave them where they are if I can, or as close to where they are as possible. Lots of nooks and crannies they can hide in. I hope this means good pest control in the spring!
