Have had a few over the years but never bothered to estimate the number of bees that are in the "small" ones that appear in the garden.
Anyone have any ideas?
Know there are solitary bees and a full blown bees nest but the ones that appear in the garden seem to be sort of a few but not a lot.
May have to extend/heighten a stone retaining wall, or two, and thought I might build in a few cavities but need to have an idea of the size. Guess sort of house brick size, maybe a little less.
