We have a tremendous problem with slugs in our garden like many people.I have set aside a grassy bit for wildflowers, plants for bees, butterflies etc.I grew some wildflower plants from seed, were quite big and healthy when i planted them out but have been eaten by slugs.Last year I grew some honesty, had a nice little clump of them ,now are pretty much obliterated by the slugs. Can anyone tell me what wildflowers I can grow in my little patch that won't get massacred? On a positive note, last year I grew some fox and cubs and they have survived.

top of the list for bees in my garden is Ceanothus, though obliviously not a native and can be a bit tender.
Ones with fruit as well including some small trees - wild rose, broom, berberis, gooseberry, hawthorn, rowan, bramble, hebe - if you want to add some other conditions like time of flowering I'll do my best to oblige with other suggestions.
