Help our hedges!

We've got a fairly large privet hedge that we allow to flower before trimming it as we love the perfume of the flowers and so do the bees and the butterflies. The hedge is starting to look a bit tired - does anyone have any tips for a good organic feed to use as we've been organic for about 10 years now.

High nitrogen feed is good for leafy growth - nettle tea or comfrey tea should be ideal. Use the Search button, there's loads of threads on it.

PS. I loathe the smell of privet, my nan used to have it in her garden.
