well we have a plethora of seagulls round here that will mob you from the sky if they catch a wiff of a chip, but they are greedy beggers.
as a one off, probrably, but i would assume its not that good for them, they shouldn't really have bread either. but with winter coming on.......why not?Vive Le Revolution!!!'Lets just stick it in, and see what happens?'Cigarette FREE since 07-01-09

i've fed them to the birds before, and none of them have ever actually dropped dead in front of me , as long as theres no salt, most things are fine, as long as they have a variety of food. and the fat is good fo them this time of year, keeps them warm.

Definitely don't give salt to birds - just a tiny bit to us is a huge dose to an ickle birdie.

I already (very happily) spend a ton on wild bird food, fat slabs, mealy worms, fat balls etc etc but tonight (following Indian take-out) I couldn't eat all the chips (yer I know, what a slob eating chips with curry!) due to all the cakes and poo cake so I thought 'hum, could darling birdies eat these'
thanks, birdies will be having salt-free chips for breakieaka

My chooks love chips! I don't use salt so that shouldn't be a worry. I always ask for extra batter as they fight over that!My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order
