Lovely to see those Burnie. We had a white egret on the river yesterday - just briefly, and not long enough to take a piccie.
It seems very unusual for us to find ducks and moorhens on our lakes and slow rivers. No idea why….

I don't think I've seen that many ladybirds together before. Good photo thanks.

Some years ago we had two windows replaced at about this time of year.
The frames were crammed full of ladybirds.

What surprised me was firstly the combination of colours and that they were also clearly eating the apple.( I thought they only ate aphids!)
