I have now got baby frogs hopping around my marrow plants doing no harm.
Perhaps they might eat a slug or two if they feel like doing some good.

Looks like a box tree moth,do you have box shrubs with caterpillar webbing? They’re probably munching away somewhere,depending when they’re born?

Yes that looks like it, and i have a small box shrubs near by.

I've never seen one -and having looked it up I can understand why as it was accidentally introduced to the south of England from Asia (I'm from the NW England)

I have heard that those birds are noisy.
I would sooner settle for a grass hopper guarding one of my pumpkins.

They certainly like to make themselves known
This flock lives in the park across the road, and likes to visit the allotments when the sunflower seeds are ready.

I think I will stick with my grass hoppers.
They are much quieter but not silent.
