The Waxwings Return . WOO HOO !!

After their no show of last year 11 Waxwing appeared on our Rowan trees today and stayed for a good 4 hours .
They really are a pretty bird, Minty XX

Very jammy! I've only ever seen one once - and that was whilst looking out the bathroom window when in the shower! So I didn't see it for long!

Hey up chuck, Worth keepin your eye out for them this winter as there are quite a few sightings. Anything in a Rowan Tree the same size as a Starling is worth a second look.

we had quite a few near too where I live in some rowan trees at a supermarket apparently the manager didn't like all the birders so they stripped the trees of berries during the night - if it's true I guess he wasn't happy to help
