    came across this web site yesderda [url]www.saveourbees.co.uk. they will sent you free wildflower/sunflower seeds to plant to help keep our bees from extintion.. if you are a teacher they will provide seeds and info for key stage 1,2&3 in time for National science week....

    That's a nice idea! I think I will stick to our lavender and rosemary, though - much more hardy (everything in our garden has to be chicken-proof!), and the bumblebees love it!

        Great find, but you got the link doesn't work.
        Did a quick Google search and found it to be this..

        The Save Our Bees Campaign for National Science and Engineering Week

        Def going to register, I like the idea of this. May scatter them randomly, in a gorilla gardening fashion. LOL.

                      Thanks for the link, I have just registered on behalf of the school I work at, and on behalf of myself seeing as I have a coupleof hives.
                      I have half a kilo of crimson clover seed that I will be randomly broadcasting on the school fields when the spring arrives.
