A neighbour tried flooding them out with a hose pipe, that didn't work either, but our cat did apparently, thought nothing ate moles, she killed it but didn't eat it,obviously just kills anything that moves(unfortunately).Rabbits seem to be her favourite so I'll leave her to it,just bring her in when the Thrushes fledge.

Moles - Love them or hate them?

I wouldn't say I am Mole Free but having been driven to distraction by them I resorted to petrol or better still diesel soaked rags shoved down the runs. As the method was cheap I poked them down every run I could find and now there is only the occasional very small erruption. Didn't do it on the veg patch though. Anythig that makes the runs unpleasant might work. I have heard that Ferret poo works as they are the natural preditors.
