look what i found in my pond this weekend. i was clearing around the pond when this little fellow popped up. hope he will bring some friends round then they can eat all the slugs. yum yum

I've not seen any yet this year, next door's pond is huge and they often pop over and shelter in the veg garden over here (the frogs not the neighbours lol), making me jump when I water them and they jump out! We even had a toad visiting last year, I really hope he comes back too

my mother in law has the next allotment to me (she's really ok) and they have loads of spawn every year so i was hoping some may hop over to my place
we used to get the occasional toad but not seen them for years
