I think thats the correct spelling, its a large coypu type thing, that lives in all the little streams and ditches around here.
Was just wondering if any of the Froglet/tes knew if they are indigenous to France or foreign invaders, and if they are widespread? They are rampant here, the boy had a fight with one a couple of days ago, it escaped, but we see several every time we go out for our walks.
I have heard from friends that they use the brains for a pate, but not sure just how yummy that would be.

Bob, they're good old fashioned coypu, like they have in the Broads and on stream banks in the UK. Bloody vermin according to many people but as I don't have a stream on my land, they don't bother me at all.

We've had a couple in the "garden" but they don't seem to be a problem. We now have a Fox Terrier so I'm looking forward to the sport this year as he tries to catch them - knowing him though, try will be the operative word
