I was 1 at the time.

Haven't been on the plot regularly, but when I've been there I've seen a few - plus plenty of larva/pupa:

None so far up here on the west coast of Scotland, but no aphids either. Am keeping my fingers crossed!
Indigox, the process is called metamorphosis, same as caterpillars into butterflies.

Yep - absolutely loads and loads up in my field and in the tunnel too. I even saw two procreating today just outside the tunnel
Not seen any larvae about as yet but they'll appear shortly I would guess.

Not seen a lot here in sunny Manchester. Had a few early in the year but not now. Maybe the cold weather earlier in the year???

I've seen one or two, and they were just the small type. Normally my currant bushes are swarming with greenfly by April, but I don't have to spray them because the ladybirds soon arrive. This year no ladybirds, but no greenfly either. Perhaps the food-web was disrupted by the cold winter?
Into each life some rain must fall........but this is getting ridiculous.
