What a lovely experience! Don't keep looking at them though or the parents may be frightened away. What fun to watch from a distance though and see the babies fledge, the parents teach them to hunt and, eventually, to see them go off on their own.
Take pictures, if you can and let us share the experience!!

My favourite bird of prey but not seen one now since i was a teenager, a pair had nested in a wooded area near our childhood home, rare seeing as we lived in the middle of a fairly large city.

My dad used to have an aviary built on to the side of our house, i still remember my knees buckling one day when feeding the birds, i turned round just as one of the Kestrels struck the cage in strike mode after a finch that was sat next to the wire. Seeing those talons so close up was both incredible and incredibly scary at the same time lol.

Unfotunately some other kids in the area also saw the nest, climbed up and took the eggs and destroyed the nest. The Kestrels never returned after that.
