She's lovely Jules, have the kittens seen her or has she seen them, she might think the little ones are lunch!

I think, had she not been feeling under the weather, Tundra would have made an effort to catch the kittens. Certainly the kittens were very curious about her! DD says she needs her talons to catch them, she wouldn't attack with her beak.

In the wild, a case of bumblefoot would have killed her eventually. A horrible thought, so I'm glad she's with DD. We haven't got her tonight as it was deemed safe to leave her in her avery....pity!

Super cool - she's stunning. Haven't shown the other half as he'd be asking to move in with you.

An ex next door neighbour used to look after owls and at one stage he had 3 snowies. The houses were new at the time so we only had Barratt's 3' chain link fencing between us. They used to send our wolfhound batty when they huffed and puffed at him and Oh found them really spooky by sitting there and twisting their heads round looking at her as she moved around the garden.

I had to put up a high wooden fence to have some sort of peace. With all the different owls he had, it could be quite noisy at times as I remember but I must admit they are impressive birds.
I am certain that the day my boat comes in, I'll be at the airport.
