Not sure where to post this and this seemed like the best bet, so if it should be elsewhere please mods feel free to move it.

Well, this afternoon the seagulls have been sounding off and circling round and round so I think the ants are flying.... is it the same elsewhere in the country or just here?

Ants ...

Yes, same here. (nr. Bristol but inland) I could hear the gulls and as I looked west toward the sun, I could see hundreds of ants rising. You are not the only one.
