  • It's starting to emerge. Took a while to find it again it had moved. It's looking like a gold ringed dragonfly.

    Will have a look early tomorrow hopefully will get a picture of a newly emerged dragonfly.

        • A Red Admiral enjoying the honeydew from aphids on my apple tree. I haven't often seen them in my garden so early in the year, it might have come quite a long way to get here...

            • I've been neglecting this thread...and this photo is rubbish. I couldn't take a photo quick enough. He popped up/or landed just where I was digging.
              I think it is a common lizard?

                Found this chap pottering round the garden a couple of days ago - am assuming by the size of his ears (and the speed he ran when he saw me) he's a hare!?

                            • A couple of hours rock pooling. Quite pleased with this little shrimp ( well I was until I had to resize for the vine! )
