  • Do you use Faceplant? There is a page for lost/found pets for each departement - posting that picture may at least point someone in the right ish direction.

        • My resident green tree snake, who lives in the kangaroo vine I have growing along the back fence, is very territorial and a spectacular prima donna and bitch generally. She has several times terrorized me for having the audacity to trim the vine whilst she is present.

          I took this picture a year ago or so. I had to pull her out of a hole that I had dug which she had fallen into and couldn't escape. As you can tell, she didn't display any gratitude in light of this merciful act. Being an arboreal snake I have no idea what she was doing on the ground anyway.

          Green tree snakes are not venomous and really can't inflict any more damage than a skink, which is lucky for me because she has struck me numerous times over the years. Probably the most aggressive species I get on my patch. The white scales are only visible when they are agitated. They mainly prey on insects and smaller green tree frogs, like the red-eyed tree frog.

              • A cinnabar moth, green bug with a really long antennae and a butterfly...I really should know the type, it wouldn't open its wings! All on devils bit scabious.

                        • I've been snapping insects on the devils bit scabeous again. A huge hover fly back and front, a small bee and a peacock butterfly all with a lovely blue sky backdrop
