got a mixture here of our garden/street and the last time we were at Richmond Park.
The ladybird was just outside our place (our leaves aren't that dirty!)
The cat was totally oblivious to the wee mouse, which was frozen in terror. I have to confess to meddling in the circle of life and frightening the cat so the mouse could live: he'd been so brave!
The other two are from Richmond Park - I always get surprised at how many deer there are there! And who can resist a duckling? I even love them and I'm scared of birds!
Our England is a garden, and such gardens are not made
By singing-'Oh how beautiful!" and sitting in the shade,
While better men than we go out and start their working lives
At grubbing weeds from gravel paths with broken dinner-knives. ~ Rudyard Kipling
Last week i was staying on a farm near Bridlington, in Yorkshire and spent a long time watching 100s of martins that shared the farm building to raise their young.
Here is a short Video i made of them. YouTube - ‪The Martins of Field House Farm.wmv‬‏
