I spotted a honey bee on the gorse, at least I hope it's a honey bee? Someone must have a hive nearby as I don't think there's any in the wild anymore which is sad. sorry it's a bit fuzzy.

It's not like any bee in my garden, and I get several different types from bumbles the size of B52 bombers, to tiny little wild bees.
Saying that, I just googled honey bee, and yes, it does look like one.
Not being very up on bees, don't the other varieties I see laden with pollen make honey?Last edited by brownfingers; 28-05-2014, 07:21 PM.

What a lovely bumble bee!
I spotted this seagull floating like a kite on an updraft of wind, it was just so magical.

The most humble spuglet. Not many take notice of how nice the plumage can be on these "commoners".
First is an adult then a juvenile, then a hygiene freak.Last edited by brownfingers; 02-06-2014, 11:21 AM.
