I think I'll add yesterday's Buzzard pictures to this thread, too. It's a resident, locally, that I see several times a week, most weeks. This is the first time I've been able to get photos.

Thanks NG, that's what they are. Don't think I've ever had them in my garden, I mostly get robins and blackbirds.

that's right they're goldfinches, we had 2 pairs last summer, they are beautiful birds. They're favourite is niger seeds. We don't have anything else quite so pretty apart from robins,blackbirds,blue tits,starlings,wood pigeons and hundreds of sparrows!

I always leave my compost bin slightly open for this little hedgehog. I found him in a recycle bag one night,making alot of noise & effort to get an empty tuna tin
