Here's a Jersey Tiger moth who was drinking from the budleia in my back garden and a black redstart who made a nest last year in our bread oven room.

Compost Inhabitants
Sloworms abound in my garden, this one is a regular, basking under the lid of one of my compost bins. They breed in the greenhouse so have to be really carefull when digging/clearing the borders.

I had no idea what this was until I used the butterfly ID site that another member posted.
It wouldn't open it's wings except to fly off.
