Out neighbour 2 doors down (the ones who got our old chicken coop) dropped a chick off at mine to see if I could either help it or put it out of it's misery. it's downy feathers are gone and the true feathers are just starting to appear. It has a flattish beak. It has a tiny bit of blood on it's wing and at the point where the wing attches to the body, at the top part it has a small wound on either side. It's sibling was dead. Can Anyone identify and advise what to do? It was very cold so I popped in the incubator to thaw out and now it's asleep. sorry the close up is very fuzzy

in hertfordshire? but looks that type of beak. the feet are not webbed though
Hopefully if we can identify, and it survives the night, perhaps, we'll know what to feed/ or where to go to get it looked afterNever test the depth of the water with both feet
