*Chuckle* - I think it is so funny the way they fly over, squawking as they go - chasing after the others saying, 'wait for me, wait for me!' One of our lottie holders got a fab photo of them in the early evening, perched on the sunflower heads. Sorry everyone ... carry on!
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

I had been wondering about whether it would be a good idea to feed the birds or not at the lottie. I feed the birds at home, even though we live in an area with a large cat population. The cats are scared of my 2 free ranging rabbits, so tend to keep out of my garden.

I think I will try and find somewhere I can put food out for them.

How did I miss your post?........Thanks Hans Mum, I'll bear that in mind. I have done so much in the garden already it would be hard to give up or to keep going & manage a plot at the same time........I'll give you a shout if I decide to go for it.

get yourself on the list, you can always say no when you get to the top, we have 13 on our list (5 are internal waiting for specific plots to swap to) so really only 8 & we only let half plots for the first 6 months.
