just sat having a cuppa, one of many, when a little head and front paws appeared. a weazle just looking at me did'nt seem the least bit concerned. i now have to work out how i can knock down the old chicken run without disturbing it. should cut down on the rabbit population a bit lol. now got to think of a name for it any suggestions must be gender non-specific cos i don't fancy trying to find out what sex it is.

They are gorgeous creatures. I love all those floopy animals (I'm sure there's a more scientific term than 'floopy' but you know what I mean).
As for names, how about Wiley, like Wil E Coyote? Wiley Weazle.

Weasels are not quite as floopy as you'd imagine. Having rescued one from an illegal trap it showed its gratitude by biting straight through my leather work gloves and inflicting severe pain. For such a small creature they have the most amazingly powerful jaws. Their normal diet is mice, voles, frogs, rats and small birds and they would be unlikely to take a rabbit unless it was very young. If it was a stoat you saw rather than a weasel that would certainly keep down the local rabbit population.
